Banana, Date & Walnut Bread
Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring and restrictive – remember everything in moderation!
Ingredients
Ingredients:
2 cups of self raising flour
1 tsp. bicarbonate soda
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
¼ cup castor sugar
125 grams of chopped dates
1 cup of milk
2 eggs
2 mashed bananas
¼ cup of chopped walnuts
Method
Turn your oven to 180° Celsius and place baking paper into a cake tin (shape of the tin doesn’t matter but a log shape works well)
Sift your flour, bicarb soda and nutmeg into a bowl
Then add your chopped dates and walnuts into the dry mixture
In another bowl place your milk, eggs and mashed bananas and combine
Combine all of your ingredients by folding your dry mixture through your wet ingredients
Place combined mixture into your cake tin and place in oven for approx. 45 minutes
Allow to cool most of all ENJOY!
